Specialised Transport Limited (STL) is a proud, family-owned transport company based in New Zealand. With a strong focus on bulk aggregates, on- and off-site cartage, demolition, and all aspects of bulk tipping services, we deliver reliable and efficient solutions tailored to meet our client’s needs.

Our fleet consists of over 40 modern trucks and trailer units, including both 6-wheeler and 8-wheeler combinations. This diverse fleet allows us to provide a wide range of services, ensuring that we can handle any requirement, no matter the size or complexity. Every vehicle is in constant contact with our dispatch base tracking daily run cycles, ensuring efficient operations.

To guarantee top-quality service, all STL equipment is maintained by our in-house team of skilled mechanics and engineers, helping to minimise disruptions and maximise operational uptime for both us and our clients.

At STL, we are committed to hiring only the most competent, skilled, and experienced operators. We set the standard for excellence that others strive to achieve. Our operators undergo regular drug and alcohol testing, receive comprehensive inductions for landfill and worksite safety, and are highly experienced in the handling and tipping of a wide variety of materials. Every team member is fully equipped with safety gear, including uniforms, hi-vis clothing, safety glasses, hard hats, overalls, and safety boots, ensuring compliance with site PPE requirements and promoting a culture of safety in all environments.​ We are proud to hold 25/26 Site wise Green accreditation

Our operators are independently competency assessed and complete the Logbook and Worktime Rule course. Several of our operators hold the SAFED DTI (Safe and Fuel-Efficient Driving New Zealand) level qualification, allowing us to provide in-house training to SAFEDNZ standards. All external training is conducted by Commercial Road Skills, leaders in the industry, who provide courses and online training to help fleet managers, owners, and drivers optimise skills, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance.

• HPMV (High Productivity Motor Vehicles) where applicable, to increase load-carrying capacity
